Putting a Q into the Study of Religions: Observations from a Global Mixed Method Study of Religiosity with the Faith Q-set.
This presentation discusses some of the key features of the Åbo Akademi university Centre of Excellence project Young Adults and Religion in a Global Perspective (YARG). In this CoE, Q-methodology was for the first time placed at the center of a large scale research project in the Study of Religions. What were the key aspects and challenges of the CoE? and where did it take us? The lecture focuses on some of the main findings presented in the volume The Diversity Of Worldviews Among Young Adults: Contemporary (Non)Religiosity And Spirituality Through The Lens Of An International Mixed Method Study (Nynäs et al, 2021, Springer, in print).
